Description

CuBe2  is a precipitation hardening Cu-alloy. In the heat treated normal condition has extraordinarily high  hardness and strength accompanied by good electrical and thermal conductivity.

Applications  CuBe2 (C17200) is used as forms for plastics, tools for deep-drawing, injection moldings, molds for non-ferrous metal casting, safety tools (non-sparking and non-magnetic), pistons for die casting,  non-magnetic, high-tensile bars, bushings for deep drilling rods in offshore and onshore sectors, and components for precision measuring instruments. It is also used in the off shore oil and gas, crosswire welding, wheel rim welding, rail welding and radiator welding industries.
